Cost of Internet in Cyprus
Provider comparison, real speeds, and what you’ll actually pay for fiber, ADSL, and 5G.
Updated April 2026
Internet in Cyprus is decent and reasonably priced. Fiber (FTTH) is expanding rapidly and available in most urban areas.
Internet Prices by Provider
Cyta Fiber 100Mbps€35/mo
Cyta Fiber 200Mbps + TV€55–€70/mo
Epic Fiber 100Mbps€30/mo
Epic Fiber 200Mbps€40/mo
ADSL (where fiber unavailable)€20–€30/mo
From a local: I use Cyta Fiber with the TV bundle — €70/month for 200Mbps. If you don’t need TV, Epic’s fiber plans are cheaper and solid.
Which Provider to Choose
Cyta is the incumbent — best coverage, especially rural. More expensive. Epic is the main competitor — cheaper, good urban coverage. Check fiber availability at your address before signing a lease.
Installation & Setup
New fiber installation is typically free or €50 one-time with a 12-24 month contract. Takes 3-10 business days. Bring passport and rental contract to the provider shop.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is fiber available everywhere?
In Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, and Paphos city areas — mostly yes. Rural areas rely on ADSL. Check coverage maps on cyta.com.cy or epic.com.cy.
Can I work remotely on Cyprus internet?
Yes. Fiber delivers 100-200Mbps with low latency to Europe. Zoom and Teams work fine. Get a 4G/5G backup SIM for redundancy.
