How Billing Works

EAC bills bimonthly. Payments via JCC Smart online, EAC offices, or direct debit. New connections require ~€200 deposit.

How to Reduce Your Bill

Inverter AC units use 30-50% less electricity. Set thermostat to 25-26°C. Use fans alongside AC. Solar water heaters cut water heating costs. Run appliances at night if your tariff offers lower rates.

UK comparison: Cyprus electricity rates (~€0.11/kWh) are lower than the UK (~€0.30/kWh). But summer AC can make annual spending similar.
