Process

Register for TaxisNet

taxisnet.mof.gov.cy — online portal for all filings.

Gather documents

IR7 from employer, or P&L for self-employed. Dividend/rental records. SI/GeSY records.

Complete return

TD1 form for individuals. System calculates tax.

Submit and pay

Electronic submission. Pay via JCC Smart. Refunds can take months.

Need an Accountant?

Employed, salary only: probably not. Self-employed or complex income: yes, €200-500 for basic filing.

From a local: Use an accountant your first year. They’ll set up non-dom correctly. After that, file yourself if income is straightforward.
